Sales Terms and conditions

Applies To: All mesh and CSG assets sold by or through FlatStudios. 

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of mesh and CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry) assets provided by FlatStudios via Roblox group stores, direct sales, or other approved platforms.

2. Licence of Use

• Assets sold are licensed, not sold outright.

• Buyers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the assets in Roblox experiences only.

• Resale, redistribution, or republishing of assets in any form is strictly prohibited.

• Assets must not be uploaded to external platforms with the intention of redistribution (e.g., Unity, Blender, or other engines) without explicit written permission.

3. Payment and Delivery

• All payments must be made in through the official channels provided via official Roblox group systems or authorised third-party services.

• Delivery of digital goods can take up to 5 working days or longer in exceptional circumstances. If we believe there's a risk involved with the buyer, we reserve the right to not distribute the asset with no refunds issued. 

• Orders are distributed via the email submitted in the form. Files are not shared via Discord.

• Buyers are responsible for ensuring their account can receive assets (e.g., not trade-locked or restricted).

4. Refund Policy 

All sales are final. Refunds are prohibited in Roblox ToS.

5. Intellectual Property

• All assets remain the intellectual property of the original creator(s).

• You may not claim any asset as your own work.

• If credit is requested by the creator, it must be visible in the game description or credits section.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use purchased assets for:

• Any off-platform use (outside of Roblox).

• Projects involving hate speech, NSFW content, harassment, or breaking Roblox Terms of Use.

• Attempting to reverse engineer or extract source files from meshes or CSGs.

7. Custom Commissions

• Any custom commission work must be confirmed in writing, with scope and price agreed in advance.

• The creator retains the right to display the work as part of a portfolio, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Liability

FlatStudios is not responsible for:

• Performance or behaviour of assets when altered by the buyer.

• Roblox moderation actions resulting from misuse of assets.

• Downtime or service issues caused by Roblox’s own systems.

9. Amendments

These terms may be updated at any time. It is your responsibility to check for changes before making a new purchase.

10. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes should first be raised with group administrators via contacting our support: help@flatstudios.net. contacting via Discord or other means is strictly prohibited.

• If a resolution cannot be found, the group owner’s decision is final.
